Founder and CEO Cordless Group and UnGroup Philip Ross appeared as special guest speaker at the Urban Land Institute’s Annual Winter Drinks in the recently redeveloped Television Centre, White City.
Philip and other thought leaders in real estate explored the event’s theme of the ‘Future of the Workplace’ through a series of interactive presentations. The speakers took a deep dive into the latest thinking regarding office design and working methods and their effect on productivity.
During the course of the discussion, Philip and his peers tackled the question: is the era of open plan offices coming to an end and will it bring with it another headache for landlords?
Specifically, Philip gave delegates some select advice on the trends influencing future workplace strategy. From the rise of new technologies, through to economic and demographic trends, Philip aptly described ways to bring together technology, people and physical space to achieve business goals in the industries of the future. Through new operating models and new types of space, Philip painted a picture of how to turn the art of the possible into business transformation and ROI.
